One of the greatest expressions of my faith can be summed up in this: a twirly skirt. When God takes over or should I say when we release our heart to Him, we feel a freedom that reveals how we feel in reckless abandon.
The more I learn about God from His showing Himself to me and the opportunities that often present themselves in limitations, adversity, change, awareness, desire and passion, the more I realize that a life that is lived in a “twirly skirt” with hope and expectation dancing around and around and coming full circle into His presence is one that has no regrets and embraces the true essence of life.
The more we live in faith, the more we can dance within the rains of life. Each step, each situation, each presumed setback is really an opportunity for growth and advancement toward greater understanding and leverage for our purpose. The greater leverage we have, the greater the potential loss but also possible unlimited gain. How we can see beyond the threat of losing what is comfortable and secure, and step out in our faith, is directly proportional to what we desire deep within…how great of a difference therefore must we stand to make if we risk.
